We Meet However Works Best for You
Our office is in Ann Arbor, but great financial planning doesn't require a commute. We work with clients in person, over video, and by phone — whatever fits your schedule and your comfort level.
Three Ways to Work With Our Team
Every client relationship starts the same way — with a conversation. How we have that conversation is up to you.
Your First Meeting — No Agenda, No Pressure
The first conversation is simple: we listen. We want to understand your situation, your goals, and the questions that are keeping you up at night. You don't need to bring anything or prepare anything.
We'll tell you a bit about how we work, answer your questions honestly, and give you a clear sense of whether we'd be a good fit for each other. There's no obligation and no sales pitch.
Most first meetings run 30 to 60 minutes — in person, on video, or by phone, wherever you're most comfortable.
Start the ConversationDistance Isn't a Barrier to a Great Advisory Relationship
We have long-standing client relationships with people across the country. Here's how we make it work.
Secure Document Access
All your account statements, financial plans, and shared documents are available through Raymond James' secure client portal — accessible any time, from any device.
A Full Team, Not One Contact
If your primary advisor is unavailable, another team member who knows your situation is always ready to help. You're never waiting on a single person.
Regular Reviews on Your Schedule
Annual and semi-annual reviews happen on video or phone — same process, same thoroughness as if you were sitting in our office. We'll reach out to schedule; you don't have to chase us.
Working With Us Remotely
Does Legacy Financial work with clients outside of Ann Arbor?
Yes. We work with clients across the country. While our office is in Ann Arbor, Michigan, we have long-standing client relationships with people in many states who work with us primarily by video call or phone.
Is working with a financial advisor virtually as effective as in person?
For most clients, yes. We use Zoom for video meetings and can share screens, review documents, and collaborate just as effectively as we can in person. The quality of the advisory relationship depends on communication and trust — not physical proximity.
How does Legacy Financial handle documents and account access remotely?
All account statements, financial plans, and shared documents are available through Raymond James' secure client portal — accessible anytime from any device. We use this platform for all clients, local and remote alike.
What technology do you use for virtual meetings?
We use Zoom for video calls and the Raymond James secure client portal for document sharing and account access. We can share screens during calls to walk through financial plans, statements, and projections in real time.
How do I get started with Legacy Financial if I live outside Ann Arbor?
Send us a message through our contact form and let us know how you'd like to connect — video or phone, whichever you prefer. There's nothing to prepare and no commitment required. We'll reach out to set up a time.
